The Sedona Gloves – FREE Crochet Pattern

Hey guys! I’m back with another freebie for you all that is so easy, it’s gonna blow your mind! (maybe not, but let’s just roll with it, k?)
So, living in AZ, it never gets quite cold enough to justify full on gloves or mittens, but it does get chilly enough to justify these crazy cute fingerless gloves! This week it reached the 70’s here in Phoenix, and for an Arizona local, that is sweater weather. 😉 With fall now upon us, I thought it would be the perfect time to share this pattern with you!  They go with so many outfits and you can still text, or swipe through instagram or swipe left, swipe right for your next boo, whatever you want to do, these gloves allow you to do that with letting your fingers free and your hands cozy! I call this pattern a crochet beginner level because you really just need basic crochet knowledge to finish. If you get stuck on any stitch along the way, YouTube is my go to for any crochet stitch questions, but as always, feel free to email me at with any questions. If you make these cute gloves, please tag me or send me a pic so I can see your creations!  Now, let’s get makin!

They Tell Me It’s Fall Now…

I’m back!! – Due to the immense amount of craziness in my life in the past couple of months (all good craziness tho ), my blog unfortunately took the backseat. But, I’m back now and ready with a renewed inspiration to share with everyone 🙂
Just to hit on a few new excitements in my life: I got a new car! YAAASSSS! Honestly, one of the best purchases I’ve made in years. You never think about how much something as silly as transportation could have an effect on your mood. But having a brand new car, that has no issues and is totally reliable, while also reminding you of how much your hard work has paid off, is a REALLY great feeling. Secondly, I have signed a brand new long term lease (and I’m serious about the long term part) for my salon and I am so excited to share that chapter of my life with you all. I am definitely going to be showing the process of building a business from the ground up and seeing it transform right before your eyes. It is SO rewarding!
But, in the midst of all of that, the months have changed from July to Septmeber, and now we are entering fall. Now, maybe you live in a part of the country where it actually feel like there is a transition to fall. I, however, live in the middle of SUNNY, shining, sweltering hot Arizona where it is currently almost 100 degrees today. Face palming for the rest of my life. I am a firm believer in positive thinking though, so I have gone out, and bought some new, cute fall clothing, to help welcome in the new season! 🙂
This fall I have opted for, cute booties, jean motifs, and ripped jeans. To me, all these styles are timeless, and with my new, extremely busy schedule, I want to have an effortless style the fall so I can be a boss ass bitch in style and not have to think too much about my wardrobe in the morning!
My shopping excursion for these fall looks took place at one of my favorites places on earth: Target!
Nothing here costs me more than $35 🙂
Tell me your favorite fall trends and what you’ll be adding to your closet these next few months.

Perfect Work Shoes

About a month ago I started really working extra hard at work, and I mean like 10 hour days all week. It really exhausted me, but it was something I wanted to do for my business! However, all that working in crappy sandals and flats with no foot support really took a toll on my feet, back and overall energy. I was telling my mom about it, per usual, and she said I needed new shoes. But, I work in a salon, I didn’t want to get some chunky orthopedic shoes to work to work every day, because, whether you like it or not, people will judge you even on the tiniest thing like shoes.
Funny enough, a couple weeks later, I was at Nordstrom Rack in Phoenix and saw these shoes. I had always said that I looovee TOMS shoes to wear to work, but sometimes when I wear them, they can look a little casual or sporty for work– until I saw these babies! They had a cute black zebra pattern, right up my alley and my “all black” aesthetic, and upon closer inspection, I saw that they were made from TOMS. I could have screamed, I was so excited. The way TOMS works is really that the regular slip ons start off expensive (for slip ons, in my opinion) and just go up from there based on how “cute” they were. I knew these styles in particular ran for about $70-$80 (later checked on site and they are $84)– so I was a little scared to turn the shoe over and see the discounted price at NR… they were $30! I was immediately upset that they didn’t have more in any other colors because I would have bought them all. Honestly, $54 off…YAASSSS!

These flats don’t lack in comparison to the regular TOMS slip ons. They are comfy as can be and really feel like they give me the support I need at work while still being stylish. They are my favorite closed toe shoe to work in. I’m not really sure how Nordstrom Rack works, like if they have the same stuff available online as they do in store, but I’m pretty sure, in the US, they are all over the place so definitely try and check out a store. I got a pair in size 8.5, which is usually is a tad too big for me, but thank gawd these ones fit me perfectly.
The day I took these pics was a weekend, so really didn’t have anything special to do other than get my nails done, but I knew I’d be parking far away from the nail salon and walking, since it was downtown and parking is a bitch. They held up perfectly just like the regular ones and let me know that they would do just fine when I’m working in them too.

I wore a basic elbow length striped tee from Pitaya.
And my favorite new tan leather fringed bag from Steve Madden (that I had snagged for $20 at Buffalo Exchange) Also, wore some black leggings, because I literally live in leggings all day every day.
As funny as it sounds, these shoes really made me feel more confident and breezy. I was comfortable but they are also cute AF! How could I not love them?

In case you were wondering, on my face I’m wearing:
MAC Blush in Peachy Keen
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone for  highlight
and voila, I’m ready for the day!

Hope you enjoyed, let me know if you have these shoes and how much you love them!
